Main purpose of the role
In preparation for going live with our leading-edge trading technology that is currently being developed, we want to add a senior member to the team. Your primary role would be to help take us to the finish line and further develop the product range. As the CTO, you need to be a driven visionary who can facilitate future client requirements.

- Hands-on Java developer
- Architected complex event driven solutions
- Algorithmic trading
- Experience with FIX protocol
- Managed a small team of developers
- Having a driven and entrepreneurial mindset
- 8+ years of experience
- A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
- Working in a financial organisation / vendor
- Work permit for the UK

- Fixed Income asset class knowledge
- Statistics / realtime optimisation
- Cloud computing
- HTML5 client / server side
- REST API
- Vue framework
Besides working with the in-house developers, you will also be responsible for the management of the two currently outsourced web development teams. Over time, you will get to build out and manage new development teams – both internal and external.
As a member of the Management, you are expected to contribute to the future directions of Wave Labs.
